Down in the weeds at Goose Bay!
Some videos of German Tornadoes flying real low at Goose Bay, Canada.
European air forces are legendary for flying low level to avoid detection and the Tornado is in its element there. Wake the farmers, scare the cows!
ENJOY!

Dogfight Video of an RAF Tornado against a pair of F-5s
Many have commented that the Tornado is nothing more than a glorified swing wing strike fighter that cannot hold its own against other aircraft of its generation.
While that may be true of the earlier marks, this video shows just how far the Tonka has come as far as Air-to-Air combat goes with the Tornado.
This video shows a GR.1 defending against a pair of F-5 Aggressors that "jumped" them on their return flight during an exercise. Low level dogfights RULE!!!!

1/72 Revell Tornado GR.1
It's done! Kit #5 for 2007! The number of small parts almost drove me insane, and that excludes the decals!
I've replaced the kit's pitot tube with a brass tube and sewing needle cut to size. There's quite abit of flash on some of the smaller parts and the sit of the whole aircraft is kindda messed up now due to my hamfistedness.
Lastly, a Tornado will not look like a Tornado without the soot covered tailfin.

Welcome to The Best Tornado site ever!
Welcome the The Best Tornado SIG (Special Interest Group) in the world!
This website is created to celebrate the best low level strike platform ever to serve with the RAF, Germany and Italy. The Tornado is probably the first multi-national cooperative to ever emerge post-WW2 and has weathered many skeptics and served well through two major wars in the Gulf.
The sight of a pair of Tonkas streaking past you at low level is a sight never to be forgotten.
Over time, we will be posting model kits, pictures and videos to celebrate the Tornado!
